The Coordination Committee of the International Symposium on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAPs) has the great pleasure to announce the organization of the 6th edition (SIPAM-6) of this event during the period 18 - 21 March 2023 in Djerba - Tunisia.
Having a large national and international scope, the SIPAM, organized periodically by the Arid Zone Research Institute of Medenine - Tunisia (IRA) in collaboration with several national and international partners, constitutes an excellent opportunity for the exchange of the latest achievements in the fields of science and technologies applied to the characterization and valorization of bioactive substances of MAPs in the agri-food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and environmental sectors.
This event will bring together all the actors concerned with MAPs (academics, doctors and specialized pharmacists, industrialists, NGOs, decision-makers, promoters, socio-professional organizations, etc.). The main topics to be developed will cover all aspects of the valorization of MAPs, including the processes of extraction, biological activities of natural products, pharmacology, Plant-Based Functional foods, cosmetics and toxicology of MAPs.
During this Symposium a space will be devoted to industrialists and promoters for the exhibition of their products and co-products (MAPs, essential oils, cosmetic and pharmaceutical products based on MAPs, brochures, etc.) and scientific and industrial material related to the topics of the symposium.
