WILDFOOD Mid-term Conference & Policy Forum, 26-27 May 2022

WILDFOOD is a PRIMA funded project (2020-2023). The overall aim of WildFood is to promote the implementation of joint innovative strategies by involving different actors of the Wild Food Products value-chains in the Mediterranean area, focusing on selected products (mushrooms, truffles, aromatic plants, pine nuts, and acorns) in view of improving their quality and safety controls and sustainability. The National Research Institute for Rural Engineering, Water and Forests (INRGREF), GENMEDA member in Tunisia, is among the WILDFOOD project partners.

Midterm conference

The 26th May, the project team will present the results, the progress of the project activities and the overview of the forthcoming tasks. Some of the presentations can be followed online.

Policy Forum: Disclosing the potential of Wildfood around the Mediterranean to promote sustainable, competitive, and secure supply chains: Key actions and policy recommendations

The WILDFOOD Policy Forum, taking place on 27 May 2022, will discuss the action needed to ensure more competitive, secure, and sustainable value chains of wild foods. This event will be held in person and streamed life online at the Villa Bolasco, Castelfranco Veneto. The policy forum is addressed mainly to the Mediterranean, national, regional, and local policymakers and key stakeholders involved in wild food value chains (including associations of producers, harvesters, processors, consumer organisations, industries, NGO, Public institutions...).
